Creating space in your bedroom

When making the most of a small room there are a few things you need to keep in mind one of them being to go for a de-cluttered minimal look. This however will mean sacrifices, things such as getting rid of accessories that are unneeded, also UN used furniture. Another good idea when looking to save space is how you store you clothes, learn to store them in a more compact practical way. The bedroom you always wanted will not be the compact, uninviting room you have now, but it can be achieved my simply getting doing some of the above, in this article I will give you 3 simple ways in which you can create space in your bedroom.

Wardrobe

At the moment you may have a wardrobe which just fills your room? They can be very un-practical and sometimes they waste more space than they are worth, it isn’t unusual for people to change the setup of their room just to accommodate wardrobe doors. Getting a wardrobe with sliding doors is a good idea; you will no longer need to worry about how you’re going to swing them open, it saves so much space! However if this is an expensive option in your opinion then maybe downsizing your wardrobe would be more appropriate? Either way these options will add to the value of your home as the room will be seen as the true gem it is, as well as transferring for you into a spacious, relaxing room you always wanted.

Storage

One of the main problems for home owners all over the country will be storage, and having your 80’s retro summer ware still hung up, is probably taking up so much room, so why don’t you think about storing them in vacuum sealed storage bags under your bed? This will save you so much space, and if you ever think about rolling back the years, there isn’t the worry of climbing into the loft looking! And for your audacious trainer collection how about installing drawers into the inside of your cupboard giving more space? If you think and take these actions upon yourself before you know it your wardrobe will feel free again, and you will have so much more storage space again!

Furnishing

Your furniture is the key to your spacious room, having a sofa bed can be a great idea, so when entertaining guests or just relaxing your room seems huge! Yet still on a night you can snuggle up and there no effort either! How about a captain’s bed? These are great for storage as well? Unfound space you never had before!

If you apply all of the above your bedroom will feel like the room you never had, enjoy!
