Free Furniture For Schools and Charities in North Somerset

Local organisations, schools and charities will have the chance to kit out their premises with good quality office furniture as North Somerset Council moves staff into the refurbished Town Hall in Weston-super-Mare this summer.

As part of its plans to use the office space more efficiently, staff will share workdesks in the refurbished Town Hall.

As a result, un-used furniture is being offered free of charge to any local groups who can put them to good use.

Various items of office furniture will be available  including desks, filing cabinets, bookcase, cupboards, meeting room tables and chairs plus fridges, microwaves and stationery items such as ring binders and filing trays.

This move will help the environment as the unused office furniture will be now put to good use! This also gives schools, local organisations and charities the chance to kit out parts of their properties, and allows them to spend money on other things which could be more important.

There are many ways in which you could kit out your office space, and think about what exactly it is you need when doing so. For example do you not have enough storage space? If so then you need to be thinking about adding a desk maybe with persnalised storage space.

There are many things we can do in and around the office in order to improve it, along with adding some new pieces of photography for example can in fact lift the spirit around the work place also.
