Last week, some of the Eurofit team headed out to Clerkenwell Design Week in London to discover the latest industry trends, innovative ideas and catch up with existing Eurofit customers!
Height adjustable desks
Whilst visiting the various exciting showrooms within the event, the team spotted many height adjustable desks. It seems that efficient working styles continue to be a leading trend amongst the furniture industry. Many businesses where promoting the benefits of height adjustable which include;
- Increased performance and satisfaction
- Improved working environment
- Better comfort
At Eurofit, our offices are fitted with height adjustable desk frames which are a hit with our employees-who work at varied heights and different working styles! After speaking to industry experts, it became clear that height adjustables not only create a more inviting office setting but are versatile to suit different styles of counter tops.
Cable Management
Meanwhile in amongst the showrooms, cable management seemed to be a big hit with visitors. One of the things that stood out where integrated charging ports for desks (which were in pretty much every desk at the event!).
The flush finish proved to be hit amongst visitors. This is probably due to their sleek and efficient design, whilst being suitable for a wide variety of desk types and working spaces.
One of our most loved upcoming trends are the longer cable ports, ideal for collaborative working and larger desks. These ports seem to fit within warmer coloured desks such as Beachwood.
Combination-locks
During their time at the event, our team noticed combination locks installed across a range of applications. The office environment seemed to be a popular setting for installing combination locks on staff lockers and storage cabinets.
Meanwhile, the team came across digital locks which only require access by a card, as opposed to entering a combination. We think these would tie in great with the idea of personalisation in offices and employee storage cabinets- certainly something worth looking out for!
