Furniture Handles – Styles of Furniture Handles

There are many styles of furniture handles and knobs available, and they can be found on office furniture, kitchen furniture and bedroom furniture.

Styles range from traditional handles often used on solid wood doors, through to modern or contemporary handles used in designer kitchens and office furniture, as well as novelty handles for kids furniture.

The most popular style of handle would be the contemporary modern designs found in kitchens and offices across the World.  Trends recently have gone towards handle designs with varying lengths, so using one style of handle to use on various door sizes and drawers all in the same design. Bar style handles have proved to be very popular over recent years.  They are usually found in modern furniture like offices and kitchens as they are simple in design, cheap, and available in a variety of sizes.

The materials used for handles are generally metal, wood, ceramics and plastic, with aluminium being the most popular in recent years.

For fitting door knobs are usually a one bolt fixing and most handles generally have two simple bolts, and both of these styles tend to be surfaced mounted, making them easy to replace for anyone.
