Table Bases – Uses for our Table Bases
By: Gareth Jones
Because of the availability of so many designs and dimensions our table bases will fulfil a wide range of uses, here is an example of the most popular places you will find table bases:
– Table bases can provide a range of different uses in offices. The most obvious one is for meeting rooms, where a large oval meeting room table can have 2 simple table bases underneath to provide support. They can also be found as desks for working on in, especially larger desks in the centre of a room for multiple people to work off. They are also found in less obvious places like office receptions as coffee tables.
Bars, Cafes, and Restaurants
– The most obvious of uses for table bases would be for dining or drinking from. In most bars you find table bases instead of table legs because they are less restrictive for putting multiple chairs around. They also look nicer than legs as the range of finishes available for table bases is much larger than table legs.
– In the home table bases are often used as dining tables in kitchens and dining rooms. They can also be used outdoors on paved areas for an outdoor dining table, with an appropriate top and finish.
