Finding The Correct Cupboard Stay
We supply a variety of stays for various types of doors, each with their own specific use. Below is a list of the most popular and a diagram of their uses:
Friction Top Box Stay
The idea of the Klok friction stay (as used by Ikea) is that it holds the door open at all angles, closing is manual. Please see product data sheet for further information on how many stays are required and fitting instructions.
Friction Bureau Stay
The idea of the Agostino Ferrari Klok friction stay (as used by Ikea) is that it holds the door open at all angles, closing is manual. Please see product data sheet for further information on how many stays are required and fitting instructions.
Soft Closing Top Box Stay
The Sugatsune Top Box stay is designed to hold the door in the open position 80°- 90°, to release the door just pull down and providing the stay is correctly adjusted the door will close at a controlled speed . Soft Opening Bureau Stay
The Sugatsune Bureau stay is designed to open at a controlled speed and lock in the open position 90°. To close the door, lift the stay past the friction stop and close manually. Please see product data sheet for further information on how many stays are required and fitting instructions.
Soft Closing Toy Box Stay
The Sugatsune Toy Box stay is designed to open to an angle of either 70° or 105°. To release the lid, pull forward past the friction stop and let go while the lid closes at a controlled speed.
