Product Description

 

Sugatsune medium duty soft-close lid stay for flaps and doors found on toy boxes, ottomans, storage chests and seats, they are used in conjunction with butt, piano or concealed hinges. The built in damper slows the decent of the door / flap to prevent it from slamming shut.

 

Please note that this stay is intended to be used in pairs and is only sold in pairs.

Calculate stay required = door height (cm) / 2 x door weight = torque movement (kg/cm)

For example a door measures height  50cm, width 80cm, door weight 6.8kg

Sum (50 / 2 = 25 x 6.8 = 170kg/cm (Light Duty stay required)
